Quinte, On. real estate agent: Builder's own home, Frankford Ontario

Builder's own home, Frankford Ontario

23 forest valley drive

23 Forest Valley Drive, Frankford, Ontario  $434,900

If you were to build your own home and put everything that you wanted into it, you might just come up with a house like this. This home is owned by the fellow who built the subdivision, and now it's listed for sale (with me, of course).

1780 square foot executive bungalow in a new sub division. Altogether, the finished living space is 3400 square feet.

Beautifully landscaped back yard with a swimming pool and large deck. This house is on the largest lot in the subdivision (of course, the builder would choose the largest lot for himself, now it can be yours).

The house is full stone and brick combination.

Completely finished 26 x 28 square foot garage with two 9 x 8 insulated doors.

Inground sprinkler system.

Upgraded maple cabinets and vanities.

Two fieldstone fire places.

9' walls throughout the house, finished with crown mouldings.

The vault in the great room is finished in clear cedar.

Ensuite bath is finished with a large walk-in shower and body sprays.

Heated ceramic floors in main area and three bathrooms upstairs.

Engineered hardwood and ceramics on complete main floor.

Maple staircase with rod iron railing to fully finished basement.

Insulated basement floor.

Full finished bar in recreation room.

Generact system installed for back-up hydro.

These are just some of the upgrades being offered with this house. This is an exclusive listing, so call Malcolm Johnston or Sean Bergin at 1 800 567 0776 for your own tour of the house.

Beautiful Home Malcolm.  It won't last for long.

Catherine Polan (Re/Max Quinte Ltd. Brokerage) Thank you Cathy, I'm pretty sure this one's a winner. I'll take you to lunch if it sells within a week.

Hi Malcolm,

Lovely home! I know that subdivision well....it looks like they have one of the largest lots there. Best of luck with a quick sale.

An interesting home but it really lacks trees and bushes. I don't understand why developers have to clear everything away when they build.

That is a sweet pool!  Bet you don't have the opportunity to purchase pool homes every day in Canada, eh?

Renee Burrows - Las Vegas NV Valley - Homes For Sale - Real Estate Market News (The Force Realty -Realtor>Estate>Probate>REO>Short Sale) Hi Renee, no, not many people have homes with pools up here. The season is a little short for too many.

It does look like a nice home but personally I think the front colors are a little bit drab for my taste.  I probably would have punched-it-up a little bit with some contrasting door colors or perhaps a different stone for the planter beds.  But I know that these decisions are driven by local tastes and customs.
