Quinte, On. real estate agent: 100 Waterfront Acres, Quinte West

100 Waterfront Acres, Quinte West

Only $250,000 - Unbelievable

lot 13 concession 10

100 secluded acres with 1320 waterfront feet on the Trent River. Imagine owning 100 acres of recreational property?  This parcel used to be a farm some time ago, so the soil is very fertile and great for growing things. You could start the world's largest pumpkin patch right here on the banks of the Trent River.

This property comes with a small 600 square foot cottage with a basement. Be forewarned though, you will not be able to expand the cottage on this land, as the Lower Trent Conservation Authority will frown upon any attempt to do so, and will stop you with all their conservationey might. There is nothing stopping you, however, from renovating this cottage and building a really kickass one as long as you use the existing footprint.

lot 13 concession 10

100 acres is a lot of land, and it's not all waterfront. You'll have your very own forest (or part thereof) where there is quite a few deer roaming around, and there's little clearings where you could build a campfire and scare the crap out of your kids by telling them ghost stories while someone sneaks behind them dressed as bear.

Start traumatizing your kids and building your family memories right here on this gorgeous 100 acre parcel on the Trent River in Murray Township.

Can you bring that land with that price to Maryland. They will be lining up over the bay bridge.

Malcom,

This looks like a great place to relax an unwind.  I wish I had a spare $250K, but I just spent it on a new jet :) (yeah right.....lol)

Thanks for sharing

Have another great day

Ellie McIntire Real Estate in Howard County Maryland (The McIntire Team of Long & Foster) Ellie, I think the days when land was priced like that in Maryland are long gone.

Leander McClain: NJ Foreclosures & REO NJSouthRealEstate.Com (Atlantic & Pacific Real Estate - Princeton, NJ) Leander, it is a great place for fishing too. I think you would enjoy it.

OK you are too funny, Malcolm.

Great job making this a fun read and making your land look oh so enticing at the same time.

I'm now breaking into my kids' piggy banks...every little bit helps on our way to 250K.

Tanya Nouwens, Montreal Real Estate Broker (JJ Jacobs Realty Agency/Ready, Set...Sold!, Montreal Canada) Tanya, you're right. Every little bit does help. When do you think you'll be bringing the offer?

Looks like gorgeous property! It's too bad someone couldn't build their dream home there because I bet it would sell really quickly if they could! I wish they had those type of deals on land here in Southern Cal! :)

If you use the same footprint, you could turn a 600-SF cottage into a 3-story, 1,800-SF home.

Contact Annie Pinsker-Brown | Stage to Sell, Los Angeles Home Stager (Stage to Sell - LA Home Staging) Annie, the land in Southern California is definitely more expensive than up here.

Russel Ray, San Diego Marketing & Business Consultant & Photographer (Russel Ray) You probably would be able to build upwards, but you'd have to have green plans for that.

The only thing I would not care for is the cold winters - I suffer down here when it gets cold for a full week!
