Blogxhaustion

Thanks for all the emails. Apparently I have been missed on Active Rain and folks have been wondering what I've been up to. The truth is that I really haven't been up to very much. I have been working much as I regularly do, perhaps even harder than usual, I just seem to have developed an aversion to just about everything having to do with computers. I've become exhausted. Blogging is a lot like going to the gym, it's tough getting back on the wagon once you have fallen off. It doesn't help that the winter can make me feel particularly uncommunicative at times.

It's time to put my big boy pants on again and return to the blogging world. I know that once I get back into the habit it will become easier again. Blogging is like that. I have been poking around on Facebook a bit, but that's mostly for fun. Blogging is for business, and as such, it's been quite good to me, by far my biggest source of leads. I just firmed up a deal involving clients who found me by reading one of my Active Rain blog posts, so I know that ignoring my blog is a bit like shooting myself in the foot.

2013 is going to be a great year for me, and I'm not just saying that in the same spirit that obliges me to say that about every year. It will be a great year. We are not even finished with January yet and I have earned more gross commission than I earned in the entire year of 2012. Things have just clicked. Last year was shitty not very good, lots of deals fell apart and I struggled to make things come together, but a few things have fallen into place already in 2013, it's been surprisingly pleasant so far. All I have to do is string a few blog posts together and I will be completely back on track.

That is all.

Very happy to see you back and embarrassed that I was not one of the AR folk who reached out to you. I too have had a hard time "getting back on the wagon" when I know it is the right thing to do.

Onward to a stella 2013

Welcome Back Malcolm!

I took quite a long hiatus from blogging myself, and have just started back.

I must admit to being a bit rusty when I picked it back up last week, but its like riding a bike or going to the gym like you said! It comes back quickly.

Best wishes for happiness and health.

See you in the rain...

Thanks Ellie, it is tough finding the groove again, and I'm nowhere near as prolific a blogger as many others on AR (including you). Maybe it's the weather.

Thanks very much Roger, right back at you.

Hi Judi, I had noticed that you were AWOL for a while, glad to see you back.

Thanks Jon, you're right, if I'm going to be blogging, the Active Rain Platform is where it's at.

CONGRATULATIONS on making all that commission.  Now, come back to the Rain and make some more.  It is great to have you back.  I really did miss you!

Hi Rebecca, that's what I'm planning on doing, I'm almost there.

Ron, thank you, I checked in to comment once inb a while, but just couldn't get my brain to work. It's in the deep freeze I think.

Welcome back Malcolm! I haven't been as active here either in December and January. We should both get busy again!

Ellie recommended your blog in a comment on my post.  I too am back on track.  Best of luck this year.

Welcome back! I was just thinking of you the other day, noting that things had been quiet.

Looking forward to your wonderful writing!

Hi Janice, yes that's a plan, let's get blogging again. I think there's been a general malaise of late.

Hello Kathy, thanks, I'm glad to see people are diving back in.

Thank you very much Heather, I was being very lazy, What's happening in Scottsdale lately?
